Steam iron anti-drip

The emitted vapor under the iron sole plate, comes from the vaporization of cold water , which is flowing into the sole plate, heated by the thermostat.

The manual setting wheel, from “Synthetic” to “Linen”, adjusts the sole plate temperature to the textile to iron.

For fargile textiles, this setting can result to a sole plate temperature under 100°C, the flowing water won’t vaporize anymore … and drops will fall on the clothes.

The DELTA CONCEPT bimetal then acts to turn off the sole plate water intake in low temperature conditions, in order to avoid flow of water, instead of vapor.
