Washing machine door lock

The hatch door or the top door of a washing machine, is closing electrically, when the washing program starts.

This lock is controlled by a mechanical latch movement, which is generally actuated by an electromagnetic coil.

Delta Concept has designed a system which replaces the electromagnetic coil, by a snap action bimetal, heated by a thermistor.
