Delta Concept can develop a sub-assembly with bimetal(s), according to specifications,
in the technical limits described below.

Standard characteristics

  • All geometric shapes, from 12.7 to 50.0mm diameter or width
  • Temperatures from 40 to 250°Celsius

Special characteristics

  • All geometric shapes from 5.0 to 12.7mm diameter or width
  • Temperatures from -40 to 350°Celsius

Exemples of realizations

Mechanical actuators

The bimetal is used both as a thermal sensor and an actuator of a security or regulation mechanism

Electrical circuit breakers

The bimetal is used as a thermal switch, actuated by the ambiant heat, or by Joule effect (electric current)

Thermal regulators

The bimetal is used as an actuator of a mixing flap for fluid (gas or liquid) flow regulation

Temperature indicators

The bimetal is used in the display of a temperature range, or the display of a temperature threshold overrun
